Delivery & Returns
This information relates to standard book products only. Bespoke Mapping is the subject of a separate contract based on individual quotation.
Delivery
We try to despatch an order no later than the next working day after the day of receipt. There may be occasions when this is not possible due to internal, external or Act of God causes.
Typically, when a new edition is published, you may wait up to a week from the publication date to receive your order. We will try to advise you if there is such a problem.
UK Deliveries
Our standard UK delivery service is Royal Mail second class service. You should allow 3-5 working days from the date of order for delivery on the UK Mainland. Quantity orders for UK delivery (for example 10 or more Track Diagrams or 2 or more TRACKatlases) are sent by next day courier.
Please note that different delivery times and rates may apply for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands and the UK offshore Islands.
Overseas Deliveries
Overseas orders are despatched from the United Kingdom to a limited number of destinations; the EU and Norway; Canada, Japan, Singapore and the United States; Australia and New Zealand. The maximum weight of any order is 2kg and is shipped by airmail.
Since 1 July 2021, most goods to the EU are now subject to VAT and, potentially, a clearance fee. These taxes and duties applied depend on the individual contents of the parcel, its weight and value and are payable by the recipient, usually before a parcel can be delivered.
We strongly recommend that customers in the EU consult the websites of their domestic postal authority to be aware of the scale of charges you will be asked to pay by the postal authority before your order can be delivered.
Returns And Refunds Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase so if your product is faulty or you decide to return it to us for refund, please contact us and follow to procedure below.
Returns
If the book you have bought from us is faulty or damaged you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. Notify us by telephone or through the Contact message on the Contact Us page. Delivery is considered to have taken place within 5 working days of the date of your order.
We will replace faulty or damaged items. We will normally ask you to send us an image of the fault or damage but may ask you to return the item. In such a case, we will refund your postage costs to return the item to the card used to purchase.
Refunds
To cancel a purchase made or request a refund, you must you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. Notify us by telephone or through the Contact message on the Contact Us page. Delivery is considered to have taken place within 5 days of the date of your order. You must obtain a Returns Reference from our office by giving your order details confirming you wish to cancel your order. When there has been no error on our part, we will refund the purchase price of the item to the card used to purchase but not the delivery cost.
Goods must be returned in adequate packaging to ensure the goods are not damaged in transit and in a saleable condition. The costs you incur in returning cancelled items (via post or courier) will not be refunded. We reserve the right to refuse goods returned to us without a Returns Reference or not in a re-saleable condition.
