Our objective is to provide the best information in the Books themselves matched by the best service in supplying them. We will endeavour to supply you with what you have ordered in good time and in good condition. In the same way as we are happy to receive details of errors and omissions in the titles themselves. Should we fail to live up to your expectations in supplying your order, please let us know so we can rectify the situation.

Our Contract With You

When you place an order to purchase a product from the Trackmaps website, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send an e-mail in confirmation to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in the confirmation e-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Methods Of Payment

Payment is only accepted by Debit/Credit/Company Purchase Card. We use the SagePay system for our on-line shop which means security for you as the order transaction is encrypted when submitted and neither we nor this website either see or retain any card details.

Pricing & Availability

Our price of our products (and those of any other publisher we represent) are fixed price from their date of publication so what you see is what you pay.

Time Of Despatch

We generally try to despatch an order no more than the 2nd working day after the day of receipt. There may be occasions when this is not possible due to internal, external or Act of God causes. This invariably occurs when a new edition is published and you may wait up to a week from the publication date to receive your order. We will try to advise you if there is such a problem.

Delivery Service

Our standard UK delivery service is Royal Mail first class service, which takes 1 – 2 days from despatch. Quantity orders for UK delivery (for example 10 or more Track Diagrams or 2 or more TRACKatlases) are sent by next day courier. For deliveries outside UK, the standard delivery is Airmail to a maximum of 5kg.

Delivery Charges

We charge for delivery per item to UK customers (the charges approximate to actual cost and weight) and at approximate cost on weight outside UK. The Delivery Charges are calculated on the total order and are shown in your basket.

Value Added Tax

Books and maps are zero rated for VAT purposes. Delivery, however, is standard rated and is included in the delivery charges shown. The invoice will show the VAT element separately. We are unable to refund Vat to overseas customers.

Failure To Deliver

For UK deliveries, you can reasonably expect to have received by 5 working days from the date of our e-mail confirmation.

If your order has not arrived after 14 days or has arrived incomplete, please contact us. Please note that Royal Mail will not accept a lost item claim until 14 days have elapsed.

Privacy Statement

Data Protection Act

We record on our computer system the name, address of our customers, together with information concerning the purchases made. This information is used purely to enable us to handle orders and to make relevant information available to customers. We do not retain or see any card details relating to your purchases. Where you have registered, we also retain your answers to the customer information questions. This information is used to assist us formulate future products. In neither case is this information is made available to other companies or individuals and we will only communicate with you concerning any orders in hand or to notify you once when each new publication is in the final stages of preparation or to provide you with other information which we think is relevant to you in regard to our products.

This Website includes material which is the subject of copyright. Trackmaps grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this website, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of Trackmaps. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this website or its content. This website or any portion of this website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

Electronic Communications

When you visit our website or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
